Ram Hadroj is a social scientist with many years of experience in research on Roma inclusion, minority rights and education policies in Europe and the Western Balkans, including as founder and executive director of the Roma NGO ‘Vish Kepucet e Mia’ (‘Walk in My Shoes’). Since 2022, he has been pursuing a PhD in sociology at Bielefeld University, where his dissertation project examines the ‘Europeanisation of Roma Education in the Western Balkans’. The doctoral project links European integration processes with educational policy developments in post-socialist contexts and analyses how European norms, institutions and programmes shape concrete educational practices in the Western Balkan states.
