Anitta Anna Moncy

Anitta Anna Moncy is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Bonn and a student at the Bonn Centre for Dependency and Slavery Studies. Her research interests include postcolonial studies, epistemology, material culture studies and slavery studies. She earned her first Master’s degree in English Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, and worked as a lecturer at various colleges in Kerala, India, from 2020 to 2024. She has published articles on literary and cultural studies in the Indian context.
